Anne-Marie Salameh comes to act in Iranian film

Iranian cinematic project ‘Shark’ has cast Lebanese actress Anne Marie Salameh for a role.

The young actress has recently come to Iran to play a role in Ali Atshani’s latest movie.

Salameh has already worked in a number of flicks made by well-known Iranian filmmakers such as Masoud Atyabi’s ‘String Closer than Vessel’ and Abbas Rafei’s ‘The Songs of My Homeland’.

She has also starred in Hossein Namazi’s TV series ‘Around Autumn’.

Shooting for ‘Shark’ was originally launched mid February but was paused later over the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the health protocols, it has recently resumed in Niavaran neighborhood in north of Tehran.

The cast list for the flick includes Sima Tirandaz, Reyhaneh Parsa, Pejman Jamshidi, Mehdi Hashemi, Behnaz Jafari, Mahsa Kamyabi, Mohammad-Javad Jafarpour and Mehran Ahmadi.
